Tara Cook

Yes, this is Tara. What a classy person she is.
Tara Low got hitched yesterday to Zach Cook, without my permission none-the-less. How dare she. Buuuut I guess he's pretty great, so I don't get much of a say.

This lil' lady has been my best friend since, well, birth. How close we were is kinda hard to describe, or put in words. We weren't separate people, but one. One in everything. Then one day... I moved. And she found Zach. and I guess you could say the rest is history.

I normally don't say a whole lot in my blog but I felt that this was one event in my life worth talking about.

I never really imagined the day when I would have to give up my other half. The day when I no longer was enough, when she would have to move on and grow up. We will always be best friends but the difference now is that we are no longer equals, but rather in two very different stages of our lives. We no longer run on the same wavelength, and it dawned on me how very different my life will be from now on as Tara starts her family, and I remain a single young adult.

It has got me thinking a lot about how fast life flies by, and how quickly your life can take a turn. From high school graduation there have been many losses and joys. Both funerals and weddings. Births, and people coming and going. A year can bring almost anything! and what a year it has been.
I look forward to what is yet to come in my personal journey here on earth.

Tea Time

The cutest and funnest gathering, a tea party! I brought out my pearls for the occasion, and you can't forget the vintage hats and elegant gloves.
